I fought the LCD vs. Plasma battle a while back.....(I know that wasn't your question
)
But..I used to work with a guy who used to work for a T.V. Repair company. On his advice I stayed with the LCD over the Plasma.
I admit the plasma does have a better, more colorful display....but again on his advice, he said they receive A
LOT more service calls in repairing Plasma's vs. the LCD models.
I sacrificed the quality for the longevity. But then again I'm a broken greenhorn.
