A few of us headed out after the funeral service today to one of Steve's spots and wet a line in his memory. He would have liked that. So Slipknot, 2na and myself caught the drop until after dark......we talked, we fished, we talked, we laughed.....and we were occasionally quiet......I think we could all hear Steve's voice there as we had so many times before. The sunset was spectacular, the fishing was not but catching was not the point. It was the way we wanted to honor a friends memory.
Slipknot pulled it out for us however and beached this mammoth shad....prolly went about a pound Bruce?? More?? I thought I heard drag????
Anyway......we got one for Steve.....he probably would have thought that was cool none the less! Nice going Bruce and thanks to you and Mike.....good afternoon.
