My heavy Canal outfit is a 1209 and a Saltiga 6000-Z.
However, I used my XRA 1205 and 525 Mag a lot this fall and put some fish over 30# on the rocks with it, and never felt the least bit undergunned--never said to myself, "oh %$%$%$%$, I wish I had my 1209 for this fish".
