I have always used AYC and this time I made a couple out of AWC but I would think they used pine maybe but they are pretty old so I really don't know what was the predominate wood used back then. In the one I documented I said smaller but it is still 6.5 inches long so not that small. Just smaller than the large one. Maybe Peter, VB, will post a picture of all the sizes as I know he has all the sizes in brand new condition in triplicate.
