I wasn't comfortable mentioning the oil job, but it was in response to him never having a job outside of government, not whether he was successful in that job. Besides, if I mention the baseball job
in which he was successful (the Rangers were not financially sound when he and his partners took over, and it became quite successful under his stay there, and he made several million on the sale of his shares) in fairness I should mention his failure as well. Anyway, one can, and should, learn as much from failure as well as from success.
