I have similar issues.

I have found nexcare (by 3M) products to be good. They make a crack care product that comes in a nail polish bottle. Used to be able to get it anywhere, but now I can only find it online and I saw it in a walgreens. 8.00 + per bottle but it works good. It will dry out after a while, so don't leave the top off for long. They used to make a product that essentially was superglue. It worked great, but now the replaced it with something similar to the crack care in a tube.

To lessen the amount I get, I use the Aveeno moisturizer on my hands every day. The one with the olive green cap. It is pricey but well worth it. I only get about 10 % of the cracks I used to.
That stuff really works. I use it as an aftershave and my face has never felt better.
I have horrible dry skin. Have ever since I was a kid. I would have 20 plus cracks on my fingers at any given moment during the winter plus red/rashes on my hands from scratching at the dry skin. The aveeno has been a lifesaver. I tried everything before that. If you have real bad dry skin Mary kay makes an extreme moisture product that is an orange pink color that also works great. Leaves your hands greasy though. Good to use overnight.

Good luck.
