I would say that is a real good combo. Hell of a lot better than what I use. The Vega is pretty much the standard for most plug builders duplicators if that is what you want to do. Don't forget to see me about the carbide set up if you ever decide to go that way. I also have plenty of hand turning tools for the lathe if you need to borrow some to get started. They are just sitting gathering dust. You are in deep now
