Mike, I am headed to a graduation on Shelter Island this weekend. I looked on the map and it's not too far from Montauk!!! Heres the deal; I will be down there from Sat night to Mon afternoon. I can't load up the surf sticks on the roof cause' headed to a friend of my girls college graduation party in full battle gear will be too conspicuous. I'm thinking about paking the fly rod and maybe my 2 piece Ben Doer schoolie rod, neither suitable for Montauk I imagine. Do you know anywhere in that are, possibly on the Island itself? I'm sure i can figure it out but I figured I'd ask a dirty New Yorker
