Yup. They seem to have the "We are the Patriots, we won 3 Super Bowls" attitude and it doesn't work anymore.
Your point about the drafts is spot on. And the part that really upsets me is the fact that it seems like any fan can see we need LBs in the worst way. And the people in charge of picking can't.
We passed on Matthews, Laurinaitis, and Maualuga in last year's draft. Every damn Packer game, I see Matthews flying all around the QB. Lil' Animal or Maualuga would have solidified our ILB core for years and years.
Although I do think last season's draft will turn out better than it appears, I would gladly trade Chung for one of those LBs.
