they say that it is generally healthier to have one drink (wine or beer) per day than to have none. two is the break even point. over three and its unhealthier than having none. this assumes that your overall diet is in check and that the one drink per day will not lead to weight gain, which is worse for you than any health benefits of alcohol (antioxidants, stress relief, blood pressure, etc.).
