Well, since the wife will be away to see her family in NJ, and Mom and Dad just got back from FLA, and she's bowing out of making Easter Dinner this year, I'll probably be eating a meatball sub.....
But normally, Mom would make ham, along with keilbasy and backed beans, Grandma would bring home made mac and cheese, and red cabbage.
There is also usually shrimp, cocktail style, some cheese and crackers and pepperoni, and my sister would make a hot clam/crab dip or something like that. and of course the mandatory hard boiled eggs.....
I would bring the fresh grated horseradish......man, talk about clearing your sinuses....try grating up horseradish root sometime....
Once or twice I helped out Mom and went to her house early to make leg of lamb....one of my and her favorites.
But this year, it will be whatever stikes my fancy for Sunday, which could very well be a meatball sub, unless I decide to go for grilled lamb chops....though Saturday I AM having Quail on the grill all by my lonesome....
