Sorry FNG but the short answer is buy a new pair like I did if you have very many to replace

When I went to replace the broken and worn studs on mine, some did come out but half of them snapped...

Do a search of my posts from about a month or so ago on the subject - believe me, there wasn't a method I didn't use to get the remnants of the stud out - without success...

If they were K1000's, you could replace the studs with ss scews and washers - there's how-to's posted on the procedure in several places

Just be sure on your next pair to remove all the studs, brush the threads liberally with Permatex (about $5 for the lifetime supply from any auto supply place) and put 'em back in - that will keep them from rusting and seizing up
