Jon...I was hoping to do the same thing this spring fishing the inshore ledges if I get the boat ready. Pretty short sighted of me to not get the state multi-species tag when they were grandfathering guys in. I'll prob. make a call to DMF as there are a lot of overlapping reg's. Here's a 06 DMF advisory; notice the fall closure prohibits "state & fed ". but spring only mentions federal?
