If its riding like a beach ball He either put a 4stroke off the back, guys are standing by the leaning post, or he just really doesnt know how to run the boat. definately to much wieght in the stern area. If he hung a 4 stroke off a 21 she is going to be ass heavy.... That boats perfect power is a 200 HPDI. Boat is only 2300 lbs so it is going to be sensitive to wieght... Friends of Mine that hungs 4S off the back have to use alot of Tab, or even but wieght up front, anchor...
I loved my 21, Never Ever did I feel unsafe in it and I ran out in just about everything, never missed a commercial day, tourney cause of weather. Rarely did I ever cancel a charter. Its an awesome handling boat in rough weather. i looked forward to fishing 20 Knots Plus.... I did have two near sinkings, but that was my fault... Went bigger to save the back and joints some, and to make my charters a much more pleasure... My first motor on that 21 had 2000 hours, I had way, way more anchor / drift time on her... Definately miss that boat.... And I would not put a TTOP on that boat! I dont know of a better riding true 21 on the Market, that 24.5 degree dead rise is awesome.... No other boat has it in its class.
