The explanation given by Swimmer is that the town's conservation commission closed it down. If this is true there was a hearing and it was anounced to the public.

I say we make a really loud stink. ConCom's frequently change their minds.

Also...if they get state money for that area there is a public access angle also. Bottom ling is we need to make a stink.
