Email from Wareham Conservation Commission

I received a nice reply from Mr. Pichette over the weekend and what I surmised is basically what Mr. Pichette said to me. Not only will the holes have to be filled in, a barrier, probably large rocks, small boulders, will have to be in place prior to any fill, such as the proposed rock, is dumped in place. The boulders will attempt to kepp the double washed stone from wandering but will also keep us from driving to the left or right destroying anymore grass. Mr. Pichette didn't say any remedy was in the works, but his reply wasn't the typical, "this is how it is going to be government reply". His email cordial and warm. So there you have it, rocks on both sides of the potholes/small ponds and then the approved fill, what ever that may be. The con comm is concerned however about the number of boats that are being launched from there also. I have only seen the smallest of saltwater craft being put in,. but I am not there all the time.

Further unless I am asked I am not going to email anyone else. I don't want to sit on anything MikeCC has going with Mr. Pichette.
