Has anyone ever seen a sickly white tautog before?
I had one swim right underneath me in 10 feet of water at Watch Hill on Saturday. I had my spear trained on it from above. I have never seen a fish so unaware and lame.
I swam down to him and it took him a second before he finally swam away.
Anyone know if it would have been safe to eat?
