Thoughts and players sent.
I know this is common knowledge, but in times of grief, we tend to develop "tunnel vision" and sometimes a little help can go a long way.
When My father passed 9 years ago, what got me (and my mom) through the "hard times" was specifically remembering the good, fun, positive things he had done. We were able to talk about his passing with a fond remembrance of the man he was and what we meant to us all. Sure we all miss him, his witty silly humor, his sad, sad impression of Alfred E. Neuman (Mad Magazine), and his penchant for doing crossword puzzles.
I hope you can find some solace in the memories this woman created in your lives. (Moms always have a way of doing that.)
May her memories carry on, and on, and on......
