Had my boat 23 years and was never boarded. Go figure? Boat was always in compliance with safety gear above the minumum requirements. But anyway , never approached or boarded , not even when they were sitting at harbor entrances just grabbing people. I guess the boat looked ship shape and had all the exterior type gear. They probably do a lot more simply random stuff now after 911.
