I used the small/tall as my main bag until I started making my own bags and I liked it (although I didn't swim much with it, just a lot of deep wading). I think it would be fine, and the front pocket would be useful when wet suiting. The material will probably give out eventually (at least it did on my medium aquaskin bag) from the strain of the water weight each time it gets dunked. You'll max out at about 6-8 plugs (1/2 needles). You might check out their 2 tube Hunter Pro bag as well, those 3" tubes hold a lot of stuff (including water bottles).
