The only type of stuff that has me coming back is the fact that I have good friends here and it's a good way to check to stay in touch. It's nice to have an extended support network and I was touched by the response to the response to the passing of RR's boxer but if your not an insider already I don't see why you would come back after your first visit to the site. It's too bad. When I started fishing for striped bass I was literally hanging on every post by people like tattoo, bassmaster, tlapinski and others because it was informative and entertaining.
I think we have turned into a bunch of "queers" as Bloocrab said. At the moment at least I think I'd be better served to not even log in here. I will out of addiction and habit but I know it will probably be a waste of time.
Probably should have put this in the GOF forum.

Unfortunately, I agree with a lot of what Mike says here. I've met some awesome people through this site and folks here have been extremely helpful to me. In the past. Seems to me that the last couple years, if you're not an "insider" as luds puts it (which I am obviously not), it's very difficult to get responses, answers to questions, recommendations, or even taken seriously. This is why I essentially stopped posting as much. I still enjoy coming here and reading to fill my time and keep up and what everyone is doing. It just feels like without being an "insider" and short of being a post whore, some don't want to give you the time of day. It doesn't bother me much though.
For the record...................Larry's okay in my book.
