The bigger blue sharks are 5 miles east of the bank. maybe 20 a day some days. jig up anything off the bottom and fillet one side for hook bait. the huge makos will be in with the tuna close to the bank, {so will the hordes of doggs}the big blue sharks are out past the bank in the deeper water.
Your permit covers you, you can not shark fish with general cat. tuna permit.
Better chances at {more} makos and threshers are south of nantucket.
best tip I can offer is fresh chum. fresh enough to eat.
