Got some great warming up for striper season at the conneticut river in South Hadley fishing in the Derby today and our boat caught over fifty shad with three fish on every so often in many mini blitz's.
So far the largest adult caught shad weighed in at 6 pounds 12 ounces. The largest junoir fish as of 3
o pm was 5lbs 2 ounces.
