First, that article is about the UK health system.
Second, you can't have it both ways. An abundance of (potentially excessive) health care is one of the big reasons we have the issues that we do, particularly with the elderly.
Regardless, it's a long way from a death squad. Considering what my own private insurance does to my benefits (through my employer of course) I'd think they were trying to kill ME!
