Expect politicians to do the exact wrong things.
The rec catch should be one fish per day, with a slot from 28-36". Then comm and rec will have more equality.
Why exactly does there have to be equality between unrelated activities? Just because it is striped bass being caught. The commercial activity is in no way related to recreational activity, past the species.
My suggestion will not affect me in any way, I always release the big fish, and only take one fish when I want a few dinners and fish sandwiches.
