Really? Kinda like cleats? - Yeh, I agree, the most important rock hopping item since the foot... Hodgman just came out with an interesting set, kinda a cross between a K5000 & 1000 for less dough...

Slip, get the felts. They'll offer you additional limitied traction and then slip the Korkers (with a "K" ) over the top for the rough stuff. Also that they are a bit lighter than the lug soles probably makes up for any traction issues on the harsh sand of Nausuckakruketucket Beach hehehehe
