I'd take a striper over any cod/pollack/haddock/flounder that you could throw at me. Personally, I think stripers, especially fresh, are one of, if not the best tasting fish that I have ever caught. Fresh tuna sashimi is definitely my favorite, but that is a whole different thing. Most days, I'd rather eat a fresh caught bluefish over the previously mentioned white fish. I just feel like the bottom fish are seriously lacking flavor.
