Gill Nets Everywhere...

On my numbers east of the Bank, NWC. Never seen so many out there. Really had to figure our drifts to avoid getting snagged. All drifts were real short, even with drift sock. Would like to see someone who makes the rules for the fishery management to actually get out there and witness what their regulations(ie, limits on days alowed to fish) end up producing in a very concentrated area..... I will say that the nets were in the right place and should be very full.

We did ok, but with a 0900 departure, we did not limit out. One haddock as a bonus. 3 to 1 shorts to keepers. Saw very few jumpers chasing halfbeaks. But no whales at all.
