Mikey, I went through open heart surgery 4 years ago. The surgery went well. I fished 6 weeks after surgery. Caught some small stripers. It felt wonderful to fish so early after surgery. I felt alot better a couple of months after surgery. Did not realize I could feel that much better. She will be fine. Going to a great hospital. The most important advice I can give you is to stay POSITIVE and have a GOOD ATTITUDE.
