It's one thing to say the fishing at the canal was good today, it's another to say spot x at the canal was loaded with big fish.

Unfortunately, it's always gonna be one of the spots that gets burned because of the easy access and it's reputation.

I just got a call from a friend who's down there today. He said that it's more crowded than he's ever seen it and the fishing isn't even good. That's exactly why reports on that place are worthless. The fish move and what's good one tide is probably gonna be sucky the next one.
