Why they didn't keep Vollmer at LT and switch Light over to RT is beyond me. Vollmer was one of last year's best finds at LT after Light went down.

Pretty smart observation for a Giants fan.
Mankins will be playing as soon as he's ready. The Pats are already thin at o-line and need him. He plays with the same mean streak that Vollmer has, too. And it's been reported that the relationship between Mankins and the Pats (including Belichik) isn't as bad as a lot of people think. He's still very popular with his teamates.
