I was there end of April to beggining of May, I believe our tarpon charter was May 2nd or 3rd. I fought 4 tarpon, 1 got eaten by a hammerhead when the boat drifted into Jaws territory as the sun was getting low. The first cut off on it's first jump also the biggest at maybe 90 lbs. I landed one about 70 lbs got a crappy picture as the guide didn't even use a boga grip to lift the fish. Those fish are tremendous fighters and test your strength. If I ever go back soon I know just what to do now, PIKIES on top
