I don't think we need a lot more forums, we probably have enough. We can work on specific topics in the main forum with a the title, ie: "Ice Fishing: Auger recommendations..." blah, blah, "Man Cave: Show us your man cave"... and so forth.
We definitely should have some contests this winter. Sounds like a solid idea (almost wrote "soiled"

We should also work - early - on the events. Plugfest, TFCTFN (Entertainment suggestions?), Reel Maintenance Party, Thinking a trip to "Club" hall may be in need.
