CAll Mike Weinhoffer of the Compass Rose - he's got a 36 foot yellowfin - a great captain. Action in Key West right should be blackfin tuna (water temp pending of course), wahoo, probably a little early for kingfish, possibly some sailfish action ... and of course the reefs are probably doing well - snappers, groupers, jack, permit, spanish mackerel. Mike is one of those captains who does what it takes to get fish. I think his website is something like fishingkw.com. I've been fortunate to have fished with him on a number of occassions - he always produces, and when I lived down there, I used to take journalists to help promote fishing in the Keys with Captain Mike, and he never failed.
