Absolutely. We let those we should be holding accountable decide their own accountability, or lack thereof, and we continue to elect those that
tell us what is in our own interest, usually at the expense of others. We have, as an increasing majority, transferred the responsibility of using the garantee of life and liberty to let an elected elite pursue what it describes as our happiness, and, in the process, dividing "we the people" against each other.
