Schoolie Monster was in a mood for several reasons but primarily because he's suffering from a near terminal case of lacka-fishie, which he corrected last night by landing a MOBY KEEPER striper of about 29-30 inches in length (weighted all of 9 pounds). Your fearless leader on the other hand, caught nada, zippo, 'ole goose egg...

In an amazing turn of events, we were surrounded by swarming hordes of minatue pollack busting on bio-lumino-planktono on the surface last night. Apparently, FW's trip with GS yesterday prompted these massive schools of outfall pollock to head north into the waters more frequented by FW & BC. Unfortunately for Greg and Myself, we got stuck in the middle of this migration and all of the 30 pounder bass and above were chased out of those waters by these minature mutant pollacks...

RickBomba - what Gates? I've never seen no stinkin' gates at the Watertown run... We're pretty much done on herring anyway and it's time to switch over to the season's mainstay of plugs and eels... unless you get frozen or fresh bait from a B&T
