Sorry to hear it. I have had great results with most braids.
What I have learned;
- If spinning use one that has an oversized roller & b sure it works
- The new small lipped reels seem to cast farther
- The adjustable spool fill ability of a Stradic helps ALOT. It puts the line on the spool so that there is more on the back than the front, cone like.
What I currently use as a spinner;
Shimano Stradic - this years model.
PWRPRO 50 on one 30 on the other
Rods - Batson 967 Allstar 597 I have beaten these two pretty good and am impressed with both. The 967 excellent all around plugs to 3oz the 597 excellent for Ledgerunners and such
I had breakage with the stealth so I stripped it. So far so good with pwrpro
