I use the 60 JB hollow for tuna but not for bass. I've had no problems with casting on my stella. If you plan on hollow and splicing, go with the white, the colored is much harder to splice. Start with splicing 80 before you go to 60 as 60 is tough till you get the hang of it. I use loop to loop windons for tuna and made some 50 lb leaders for bass,80 lb leaders when blues are present.

Lately I've been using suffix solid for bass.Once you get the hang of splicing you ,it'll benefit you with solid line as well. Say you lose a bunch of line off your spool. You add some more solid line with a splice of hollow with 100% line strength.
