Think the small to medium sized Ledgerunners with the curly tails....

.....on the drop (the jig drop, not the tide drop).....

At least that's what works for their "close cousins" in Hatteras.....

PS....I've also gotten weakies in Jersey on a small to medium orange and black Mega-Bait "bomber" type lure......
