Dr Fish, you will feel ten years younger with the Wearbars, really. I cannot stress enough how sweet these are when compared to Korker
sandals (not comparing to Korker boots for which I have no experience with).
Yes, the Cabelas boots have small holes that their studs (suck) would use and the thicker wearbars go right in. Use a ratchet to put them in and get some washers - one per wearbar - to help the wearbar stay a little straighter.
I wore mine probably 75 time last year and lost two.
