It's also good form to ensure all parts of the audience feel they're being addressed. I do a lot of speaking for business and this can be a challenge unless you really practice moving back and forth...I've also found that making eye contact with individuals in a large group, unless you're addressing a question, can be quite distracting.

When speaking directly into a camera the teleprompter is usually right below the lens.
