Van, you have my deep and sincere condolences. No matter how old she was, and how long you had here with you, it's always a sad time when they leave us.
Treasure her memory, celebrate her life, but yes---mourn her passing. Shed a tear. It's helpful. Grief is an expression of how much they meant to us. It hasn't been that long since I had to bury my mom.
