I had an older one a few years ago (a 1992 201 model) and it was build like a tank. It was back when they were privatly owned and I've heard great things about the older ones (minus transom rot issues). I liked my Mako a lot but wanted something a little more suited for offshore and stepped up to a 21' Contender. Enjoy the Mako.
