I've definetly read that the older Makos are built really well. They're beautiful boats also. But I'm good with mine. Feels very solid, handles well in the chop. I do have to go slow when it's rough because, as an inshore, it has low sides. I really like how I can get it into like 15 inches of water to fish or get through the sandbar tunnel.(engine up almost out of the water) And I love how my 18 yr old son can't wait for us to get it back on the water. Me too!
