Another Darter Family
This is my 3rd time building darters and each time it gets a little easier. I started by copying Numbskull's 5.5 inch Musso clone which is what the yellow and purple ones are.
Then I wanted to build a couple of chunky darters that are also 5.5 inches long... these are the green one and the blue w/pink stripe
Then I wanted to try the 6.5 inch Musso style darter with the 2 color scalloped paint. I have always liked looking at the images on the other site of Bob Jones darter collection so I made a pair and tried 2 diff eye locations... still have not found a good source for the black/yellow/black flat eyes...
Next in line are some more musso needles...
The weights of these are
yellow & purple 1.375 w/o hooks no lead
green & blue/pink stripe 2 oz w/o hooks lead 2/3 way back
Musso scalloped 2 oz w/o hooks lead 2/3 way back
