A40, Musso Junior and Maple/Cherry flybox
The end of my building season is here and i just made my first A40 , a Musso jr swimmer for a fishing friend in LI, and a flybox for my son. My son graduates from college so I needed to make him something that hopefully he will hang onto for a long time. Last summer I gave him a refurbished bamboo 8' 3 piece Edwards fly rod that used to be my grandfathers and now looks mint again.. so the fly box goes with the rod and an Older Systems 2 reel with a sinking and floating spool setup.
The box closure are a few of the rare earth magnets.. works great
