Sad part is it wasn't even his rod...he pirated the thing and claimed it as his own...
Kinda like eminent domain with fishing tackle...
If I were the owner of that rod I'd demand it be replaced today, plus five years interest...
I actually can't believe it lasted as long as it did, its a miracle...it was cetainly well built.
