As a kid I would have PB&J with Hires Rootbeer, or Cream Soda.
I never did pick up on Dr. Pepper as a kid, but as an adult I would bet it would compliment the combo pretty well!
Diet cola? the first 3 letters spell DIE!
Milk would be a last resort, not that I don't like milk, but I'm shooting for a flavor combo, and milk is rather bland.
Whatever the beverage, it MUST be cold!
