I find setting the big point of the siwash more difficult so my preference is to change out the siwash hook to a strong stainless beak or O'shaugnessy. Kudos for Pt Jude in producing this old time lure.

Thanks DZ, I went ahead and broke the back bone all way down to the tail as another member suggested, definitely freed up the action on it. Not sure what hook comes stock on them from PJ, looks like the same mustad that they put on the swim plate, next time I rig em Ill swap it with my riggie hooks.
