Will be traveling to Hatteras for a reunioin with my kids in early August, was wondering if there is any surf action for anything that time of year? I know it is all too warm for stripers etc, but blues? Other stuff? Bait? Plugs? Night or day?

Also, Pamlico sound is right behind us, reds?
